"Rapture" is the fifth single and eighth track from Declan McKenna's fourth album, Zeros. It was released on 3 September 2020 through Because Music, Columbia Records and Tomplicated Records.
A remix of the song produced by Georgia was released on 16 January 2021.
"Rapture" was written in early 2019 about Declan's thoughts of the future and the end of the world.
According to Declan, some of the drum and vocal stems in the song were taken from his original demo. However, he isn't credited as a co-producer in the liner notes of Zeros.

You know there's all sorts of crap on the TV these days
Now you won't live after
Such disaster you're a lot full of smashed up cars
Cross hatched in the metal when you're cracking up
