Professor Stewart is recognized as one of the world’s leading scholars in environmental and administrative law. Prior to joining the faculty, Stewart served as Byrne Professor of Administrative Law at Harvard Law School and as a member of the faculty of the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard.

Nov 27, 2018 · In 1992, Stewart became a professor of law at New York University, eventually serving as the director of NYU’s Center on Environment and Land Use Law. He also was the chair and faculty director of the Hauser Global Law School Program.
