John Douglas Roberton (26 April 1927 – 18 December 2008), known professionally as Jack Douglas or Jack D. Douglas, was an English actor best known for his portrayals in the Carry On films.
Actor: Carry on Columbus. Coming from a theatrical family, Jack Douglas' entry into show business was as a producer, however, not as a performer. His father was a theatrical producer, and Jack followed in his footsteps at an early age--he produced his first show at 15.
