Abraham Isaac Sofaer (1 October 1896 – 21 January 1988) was a Burmese-born British actor who began his career on stage and became a familiar supporting player in film and on television in his later years.

Abraham Sofaer was a stage and screen actor of Burmese-Jewish descent who played exotic characters in films and TV shows. He appeared in A Matter of Life and Death, Quo Vadis, I Dream of Jeannie and many other works.
Sofaer (1896-1988), who played the Judge-Surgeon in A Matter of Life and Death, is remembered affectionately by Byron Haskin in the latter's interview book (source data below).
