Morley was a British actor who began his career on stage in 1928 in Dr. Syn. His Broadway debut in the title role of Oscar Wilde ten years later brought him much critical acclaim, and was followed by roles in productions such as The Man Who Came to Dinner, Edward, My Son, and The OldCountry.
