Penélope Cruz (born 28 April 1974) is a Spanish actress. She won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in the Woody Allen comedy-drama Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008). [1] She is the first and only Spanish actress to both win and be nominated for an Academy Award in an acting category. [2]
