Kunal Nayyar ( / kʊˈnɑːl ˈnaɪ.ər /, [1] kuu-NAHL NY-ər; born 30 April 1981) is a British-born Indian actor. [2] He gained recognition with his portrayal of the character Raj Koothrappali on the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory (2007–2019), and voiced Vijay on the Nickelodeon animated sitcom Sanjay and Craig (2013–2016).
Kunal Nayyar is a British actor who moved from India to the US in 1999. He is best known for playing Raj Koothrappali in The Big Bang Theory, and has also voiced characters in Trolls and Ice Age movies.
