Veda Ann Borg (January 11, 1915 [citation needed] – August 16, 1973) was an American film and television actress. Early years [ edit ] Borg was born in Boston, Massachusetts , to Gottfried Borg, a Swedish immigrant, and Minna Noble.
Veda Ann Borg was a brassy, man-hungry actress who played lower-class sexpots in many B films. She survived a severe auto crash and plastic surgery, and appeared in over 100 films, including Mildred Pierce and The Alamo.

Veda Ann Borg was an American film actress who appeared in more than one hundred films and TV shows from 1936 to 1973. She was known for her roles in Mildred Pierce, Guys and Dolls, The Alamo, and many others.
Borg was married briefly to Paul Herrick (1942) and to film director Andrew McLaglen (1946 – 1958), with whom she had a son: Andrew Victor McLaglen II. Both marriages ended in divorce. [citation needed] Borg died of cancer in Hollywood in 1973, aged 58. She was cremated and her ashes scattered at sea.
