William Edward Fichtner (born November 27, 1956) is an American actor. He is known for his television roles as Sheriff Tom Underlay on Invasion, Alexander Mahone on Prison Break, Carl Hickman on Crossing Lines, and Adam Janikowski on Mom.
I have reduced mobility (I use a cane), and have a few friends in wheelchairs (most only part-time, for fibromyalgia, etc..., one full - time), so I'm torn about casting an actor who doesn't need a chair. On one hand, the writers and Fichtner do an excellent job with Adam, as a character.
