Richard Masur (born November 20, 1948) is an American character actor who has appeared in more than 80 films. From 1995 to 1999, he served two terms as president of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG).

He is also a Directors Guild and Academy Award nominated director. Masur served as National President, VP and Board member of Screen Actors Guild and was also a Board member of SAG-AFTRA. He is a Trustee on the SAG Pension Plan and the SAG-AFTRA Health Plan and has been a member of the National Film Preservation Board for 20 years.
