John C. "Chris" Broyles is an American meteorologist who is a weather forecaster and tornado forecasting expert with the Storm Prediction Center.
Jan 1, 1970 · I experienced two inspiring weather events. The first was a tornado outbreak when a tornado moved through our southeast Texas community close to our home. Three people were killed in southeast Texas, each from a separate tornado. The two-day event spawned 43 tornadoes, killed six, and injured 90.
Chris Broyles is a meso/outlook forecaster at the NOAA Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma. He is an expert in tornado outbreak forecasting and has created several forecasting resources and publications.
