Sergei Viktorovich Samsonov (Russian: Серге́й Ви́кторович Самсо́нов; born October 27, 1978) is a Russian former professional ice hockey forward who is now a scout for the Carolina Hurricanes. He played in the NHL with six teams from 1997 to 2011.
Sergei Samsonov is a former NHL player who played as a left wing for Boston Bruins, Edmonton Oilers and Atlanta Thrashers. He scored 235 goals and 336 assists in 888 games, won the Calder Trophy in 1997-98 and the Byng Trophy in 2000-01 and 2001-02.
