Henrik Larsson MBE (born September 20, 1971 in Helsingborg, Skåne) was a Swedish international football player. He went on to become a Celtic legend, playing a central part in the revitalisation of the club as it once again dominated Scottish football having been in the doldrums for much of the previous 15 years.
Jul 25, 2023 · Larsson’s debut goal for Celtic came in a 7-0 League Cup thrashing of minnows Berwick Rangers. He would end up with 19 goals and two winner’s medals in his first season at the club. Perhaps, more importantly, he had helped the Hoops clinch their first top-flight title in a decade and stopped Rangers winning ‘the 10’ in the process.
