Lester Craig Hayes (born January 22, 1955) is an American former professional football cornerback who played for the Oakland / Los Angeles Raiders of the National Football League (NFL). Hayes was commonly referred to as "the Judge" and "Lester the Molester" because of his bump-and-run coverage.
He was a two-time Super Bowl winner, five-time Pro Bowler, five-time second-team All-Pro, a first-team All-Pro once, NFL Defensive Player of the Year, and NFL interceptions leader once. Hayes has also been named to the NFL’s 1980s All-Decade Team.
