Joseph Andrew Staley [1] (born August 30, 1984) is an American former football offensive tackle who played his entire career for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Central Michigan and was selected by the 49ers in the first round of the 2007 NFL draft .

Apr 25, 2020 · The three-time All-Pro and six-time Pro Bowler announced his retirement on Saturday, ending his 13-year career with the San Francisco 49ers. Staley started all 181 regular season games and 11 postseason contests at left tackle, and was a two-time Bobb McKittrick Award winner.
