Cataract Falls is in a state park and is actually two waterfalls located about a hour west of Indianapolis, near the town of Cataract. These are the largest waterfalls in Indiana and while this isn't exactly Niagara Falls, they are both in pretty settings and impressive enough.

Both consist of a series of drops. The total height of the Upper Falls is approximately 45 feet, and the Lower Falls drops about 30 feet.

Cataract Falls is the largest, by volume, waterfall in Indiana. A main attraction on the lake is a bald eagle’s nest, where the birds return every season. A concession operator offers snacks, drinks, boat rentals, and fuel from a recently updated dock near the beach, offering more opportunity to enjoy Cagles Mill Lake.
This is the largest falls in Indiana. There is a upper falls and a lower falls. Both are well worth viewing. While there why not take a walk across the covered bridge. There are several nice picnic areas as well. A nice place to sit back and relax.
