  1. Nov 7, 2022 · Date Built: 1807. The oldest building in Columbus still on its original foundations is the David Deardurff House, or the old Franklinton post office. Deardurff ran Franklinton’s post office out of a side room until 1834 when Columbus built a larger one. Various families lived in the log cabin all the way into the 1950s.

  3. LeVeque Tower. Coordinates: 39°57′44.550″N83°0′7.513″W39.96237500°N 83.00208694°W. The LeVeque Tower is a 47-story skyscraper in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. At 555 feet 5 inches (169.29 m) it was the tallest building in the city from its completion in 1927 to 1974, and remains the second-tallest today.

  5. April 4, 1983. The Martin Luther King Jr. Performing and Cultural Arts Complex is a historic building in the King-Lincoln Bronzeville neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio. It was built in 1925 as the Pythian Temple and James Pythian Theater, and was added to the National Register of Historic Places and Columbus Register of Historic Properties in 1983.

  7. June 11, 2009. The Hayden Building, also known as the Hayden-Clinton Bank Building, is a historic building on Capitol Square in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009. Built in 1869, it is one of the oldest remaining commercial buildings on Capitol Square.
