The Calahorra tower (Spanish: Torre de la Calahorra) is a fortified gate in the historic centre of Córdoba, Spain. The edifice is of Islamic origin. History. It was first erected by the Almohad Caliphate to protect the nearby Roman Bridge on the Guadalquivir.
