Galway (/ ˈ ɡ ɔː l w eɪ / GAWL-way; Irish: Gaillimh, pronounced [ˈɡal̠ʲɪvʲ]) is a city in the county town of County Galway. It lies on the River Corrib between Lough Corrib and Galway Bay.
