Harry Rubenstein (January 27, 1895 – February 23, 1974), known professionally as Harry Ruby, was an American pianist, composer, songwriter and screenwriter, who was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1970.
Harry Ruby was a prolific songwriter who collaborated with Bert Kalmar on many hits for Broadway and movies. He also worked as a 'song plugger' for Gus Edwards and George Gershwin, and had a brief career as a vaudeville pianist.
