Dave Grossman is an American game programmer and game designer, most known for his work at Telltale Games and early work at LucasArts. He has also written several children's books, and a book of "guy poetry" called Ode to the Stuff in the Sink. In 2009, he was chosen by IGN as one of the top 100 game creators of all time.

I am a long-time writer, designer, and director of interactive stories and other types of games and entertainments. I'm best known for co-creating such LucasArts classics as The Secret of Monkey Island and Day of the Tentacle, and for my tenure directing design and writing at Telltale Games.
Dave Grossman is the Senior Designer at San Rafael, California-based Telltale Games, currently serving as Lead Designer on the upcoming Sam & Max: Season One, the license for which was recently acquired by Telltale after the IP's previous video game treatment, Sam & Max: Freelance Police, was cancelled by its publisher, LucasArts.
