Carl Foreman, CBE (July 23, 1914 – June 26, 1984) was an American screenwriter and film producer who wrote the award-winning films The Bridge on the River Kwai and High Noon, among others.
Carl Foreman (1914-1984) was an Oscar-winning screenwriter and producer who worked on The Guns of Navarone, High Noon, The Bridge on the River Kwai and more. He was also a victim of the Hollywood blacklist and a friend of Stanley Kramer.
