In honor of all the great works of literature we want to read but don’t have time to, we’ve put together a list of our 10 favorite bookstores across the commonwealth in alphabetical order.

    • Old Town Books. Although this book was only recently founded in 2018, Old Town Books has already become a local favorite. If you’re in the Alexandria, Virginia area looking for somewhere to pick up a few books, this bookstore is the place to go.
    • One More Page Books. One More Page Books was first established in 2011 in Arlington, Virginia. If you’re looking for a specific book, or you just feel like spending a few hours browsing the shelves, this bookstore will be happy to have you.
    • New Dominion Bookshop. New Dominion Bookshop first opened its doors in 1924, making it the oldest independent bookshop in Virginia. If you’re looking for something new to read in Charlottesville, New Dominion Bookstore is the perfect place to visit.
