Our 1907 Acadian House serves as a Tourist Information Center, with maps, brochures, Louisiana Magazines etc. It also is home to a small library area with the collection of the city's history and memorabilia.

The highlight of Begnaud House is the Cajun Music Jam Session on Friday nights starting at 6pm. Many of the locals and guests get together to play Cajun music as it was played when the Acadians first came to Louisiana. There is usually a local volunteer historian in the place to tell you about the history of the Cajun people as well.
