The Ford Piquette Avenue Plant is a former factory located within the Milwaukee Junction area of Detroit, Michigan, in the United States. Built in 1904, it was the second center of automobile production for the Ford Motor Company, after the Ford Mack Avenue Plant.
Stroll through automotive history at your own pace, take a guided tour led by museum historians, or attend a special event. The museum is open Wed-Sun from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Private, group, and school tours are available by reservation on any day of the week. Call (313) 872-8759.
Ford Piquette Avenue Plant. On April 1, 1904, approximately 10 months after Ford Motor Company was launched, stockholders authorized the purchase of 3.11 acres on Piquette Avenue for $23,500.
