Aug 5, 2017 · The refuge includes walks through red-cockaded woodpecker habitat (an endangered species), and miles of canoe trails at Deep Slough and Grand Marais Lake. Bass, catfish and bream fishing is very good. And every winter, waterfowl and other migrating birds flock to the refuge. Read more.
