   Sep 16, 2014 · This Village of Saugerties beach and park is well-maintained and a pride of our community. There's a playground, picnic benches, shade and sun. It's a beach, yes, there's a sandy area. In season, it's adequately staffed with wonderful lifeguards. There are two rafts you can swim to or just float around the roped area.
