Try to visit after recent rains or they may just be a trickle or completely dry. Other nearby trails to explore include Jackson Falls and Bell Smith Springs.
Try this 1.2-mile out-and-back trail near Stonefort, Illinois. Generally considered a moderately challenging route. This is a popular trail for hiking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime.
