The Cross sits at an altitude of 964 feet and is a great, medium-intensity cardio hike or a sweat-raining, Mountain Bike ride.

Excellent hiking trail in Palm Desert that is dog friendly. Most people select this trail because they want to go "to the cross" and it has significant meaning to them. It is an amazing view from the top of the mountain, but a trail for a more experienced hiker. If you aren't experienced then hiking poles are encouraged.

Apr 21, 2020 · Made an early morning stop in Palm Desert for coffee. We asked about hiking trails in the area and was advised of “The Cross Trail”. Always looking for new trails to hike we decided to take on this trail prior to the heat of the day. The Cross Trail is a 3.4-mile loop trail that offers outstanding scenic views. Great for photo.
