Website. leconsortium .fr. Le Consortium is a contemporary art center based in Dijon [1] founded by Xavier Douroux & Franck Gautherot, among others, from the association Le Coin du Miroir (The Corner Mirror). The center was run by Douroux, in collaboration with Gautherot and Eric Troncy.
Established since 2011 in a specifically designed 4,000 square-meter building by Japanese architect Shigeru Ban, the history of Le Consortium began in 1977 on the first floor of an alternative bookstore, and later on in a former appliance store located at the back of a courtyard on the central market square in Dijon, Burgundy.
