Synopsis. In waning winter light, a doll maker works in his shop, a kerosene lamp beside him, a jumble of dolls and doll parts, whole and broken, surrounding him. Lampa is an exercise in audiovisual cognitive dissonance to portray isolation and the inert as something inherently terrifying. Sometimes, inert objects can have more life than our everyday routine, but also more capacity of destruction. The paradox comes when the artifacts created by mankind have a greater capacity for the latter.
