'Laughing Times' is a loose remake of Chaplin's 1921 film 'The Kid' and features many hilarious comedic bits that would feel right at home in a Chaplin film. Some scenes pay homage to famous Chaplin sketches such as the boxing match where the ref is caught in the middle, but none of the sketches directly rip off any of Chaplin's work.
