After five years of marriage, Rosie (Dervla Kirwan) and Vincent (Christopher Eccleston) are unable to conceive a child, despite frequent and calculated attempts to do so. The years of trying have begun to wear at their happiness. Their marital troubles become clear when Rosie's former pen pal, Benoit (Yvan Attal), comes back into her life.
