Almost two decades later, the Belgian explorer, Captain Phillippe D'Arnot, member of a zoological expedition funded by the British Museum, crosses paths with a now-grown-up John, the smart lord of the apes, and before long, a profound bond develops between the two men.
Classic tale of the wild man raised by apes in the African jungle after his explorer parents are shipwrecked and then die while he is still a baby.
