After a quick car accident, Hector 2 wraps his head in a bloody bandage, turning himself into the masked maniac man, and proceeds to degrade, and humiliate the pretty young girl he saw naked after she stops to help him and gives him some water.
Terrified, he takes refuge in a nearby laboratory, where a lone attendant puts him in a peculiar contraption. He emerges what seems to be moments later, only to find that he has traveled back ...
Nacho Vigalondo's Timecrimes is a low-budget Spanish time travel film that cleverly used its familiar sci-fi trope to bring forth something terrifying, darkly funny, peculiar, smart, and tragic. Unlike most time travel films, this one is pretty easy enough to follow - and that's a good thing!
