Written by Antonella Gaeta, Davide Serino along with the director, the screenplay follows a feud between two rival families from a small town in Italy.
Sep 10, 2022 · With its grandiose images and motifs of family allegiance, deep-rooted vengeance, and power Burning hearts paints itself as an epic drama of sweeping scale. However, with no real vitality, soul, or care for its characters, there is no bittersweet tragedy or swooning melancholy but rather a stiff and restrained play out between characters.
9/10. A gem. a-muscio 25 September 2022. Beautifully shot, outstanding photography, good plot. The movie was shot in the countryside of Foggia, Puglia, southern Italy. It is a modern, noir version of Rome and Juliet but based on a real story.
