In Tangier, disgraced American war correspondent Paul Kenyon has little luck in attracting the attentions of Rita, a café dancer from Madrid, despite the help of Pepe, a young, local entrepreneur. Rita has Dolores, her friend and associate, perform in her place so that she can search the room of Adolpho Fernandez, a Nazi diamond smuggler.
