Aug 2, 2014 · Edmund O'Brien, the lawyer whose friends Landis and Murphy keep involving him in mysteries and getting him in trouble with the police, is better as a not-quite-so-fast-talking foil to their too fast talking, nonsensical repartee. At a thankfully short fast-paced movie, it is worth the 70 minute view, if only for Carole Landis.
