After dinner one night, 70-year-old Leo Serano (Philippe Noiret) collapses. A hospital checkup reveals no major problems, but Leo uses the incident as an excuse to try and bring his three bickering sons together. The oldest, David (Charles Berling), is a stressed-out businessman at odds with both unemployed Max (Bruno Putzulu) and cheerfully unambitious Simon (Pascal Elbé).
