In Las Vegas, determined out-of-towner Detective Evan Stark (Nicolas Surovy) hunts the killer of his ex-partner. He is aided, reluctantly, by able local Police Lt. Ron Bliss (Dennis Hopper). Stark's investigation takes him into the murky underworld of Vegas life, where he meets sexy lounge singer Maggie Carter (Kirstie Alley). And although Stark's journey has taken him far out of his jurisdiction, he encounters his hometown Police Chief Waldron (Pat Corley) along the way.
