This romantic comedy about a rich young American who is trying to make a go at painting in Paris (John Loder) and a young woman who is trying to become a dress designer in the City of Lights (Nancy Burnes) owes whatever sparkle it possesses to its leading actors.
This romantic comedy from ATP Ealing studios gets off to a bright enough start, but after awhile downplays the comedy for the rather more tedious romance. Set in a very English version of Paris, an impoverished (or is he?) artist falls for a model with pretensions to be a dress designer.
