A sequel to Dracula (1931), the film follows the psychiatrist Dr. Garth who tries to help the Countess Marya Zaleska, the daughter of Dracula, to overcome her vampire curse. She kidnaps his fiancée and takes her to Transylvania, where Dr. Garth and Prof. Van Helsing pursue her.
Although Count Dracula was destroyed by Van Helsing (Edward Van Sloan), who is now being tried for his murder, Dracula's daughter, the Countess Marya Zaleska (Gloria Holden), is still alive...
