Charlie's film has all the components of a thought provoking film, constructed with beautiful bnw 35mm scenes from global cinemas each linked by the common denominator that no one in the film is still alive today.
The Afterlight. 2021. Directed by Charlie Shackleton. The Afterlight exists as a single 35mm film print. Further eroding every time it screens, the film is a living document of its life in circulation. Eventually it will disappear entirely.
