When Libyans bomb a U.S. military base in Italy, network director Paul Moore (Peter Hackles) calls for a live breaking news report with Tom as anchor. Jane objects, insisting that her close but undervalued colleague, Aaron Altman (Albert Brooks), is substantially more qualified, but Paul refuses to listen.
