Mincayani (Louie Leonardo) is born into the most violent society ever documented by anthropologists, the Waodani in the eastern rainforest of Ecuador. As he grows he learns what every Waodani understands, he must spear and live or be speared and die.
Based on the true accounts of five missionaries speared to death by a forrest tribe, the film weaves together the story of a bereaved son and the tribal leader who took part in the brutal killings. Ultimately, they must confront the pain of the past and choose between revenge and reconciliation.
