There's one moment of pure magic, when the two of them and the tiger sit on a hilltop behind the local drive-in theater. And, to give the movie its due, it does deal with the consequences of the affair, when Ann-Margret gets most unexpectedly pregnant.

Popular reviews. Quirky May-December romance thing has a positively giddy C. Thomas Howell lusting after and eventually falling in love with his ex-girlfriend's mother Ann-Margret, which is absolutely understandable. Kind of delightful aside from the bizarre direction things go at the start of the third act.
