La Pelle Wines is a new brand founded by three partners with experience in the Napa Valley wine industry. They produce terroir driven wines from premium vineyards, including a rare Sauvignon Blanc from a 1981 block and a Cabernet Sauvignon with savory notes.
This is another stunning vintage of this small-production wine, the result of a partnership between Winemaker Maayan Koschitzky and wine growers Miguel Luna and Pete Richmond. Ageable and structured, it opens in dark, brooding tannin, oak and sage, with a thickness to the palate.
