George Washington II: The Forging of a Nation is a 1986 television film, and was the sequel to the 1984 miniseries George Washington. The film chronicles the life of George Washington, the first President of the United States.
This mini-series chronicaling Washington's presidency is actually as much or more about Alexander Hamilton. It's obviously a TV production of its time, but is still worthwhile, giving an overview of the challenges Washington faced creating a new, experimental government for a fledgling nation.
