  3. Werner Herzog´s short documentary about physically disabled children and their treatment in West Germany. The presentation is very straightforward and without stylizations (Herzog calls it a “report”) but the approach to the subject matter is compassionate, moving, and eye-opening.

  7. Handicapped Future 1971 ★★★½. Watched Feb 14 , 2020. You can see why Werner Herzog would all but disown this early documentary for being "dangerously conventional," but on the other hand, it's a remarkably progressive portrait of disability, given that it was made in 1971. Still very much worth a watch! 1 like. home (zurich) werner herzog.
