Tom Hunter (Peter Fonda) is an average man still reeling from a failed marriage when he returns to his family's Arkansas farm. After discovering that a ruthless corporation wants their land and that his father, Jeff (John Doucette), and other relatives have been subjected to intimidation, Tom looks into the situation.
